Eyelid Lift
What is it?
Age and genetics play a role in aging around the eyes. An upper lid lift (blepharoplasty) can serve to remove extra skin, reduce puffiness, and improve hollowness. Dr. Hartmann uses a variety of techniques to achieve the overall needs and goals. A surgery that is extremely impactful for the patient.
Am I a candidate?
An exam is paramount to determine candidacy. Dr. Hartmann will require an exam by an ophthalmologist to determine level of dry eye and possibly visual obstruction.
Before & Afters
What is recovery like?
Stitches are usually removed in 5-7 days. Ice will be used for the first 48 hours to reduce swelling as well as head of bed elevation. Restrictions are 2 weeks without exertional activity.
