Internal Bra Technique with Galaflex HD
What is it?
Occasionally patients do not have enough strength in their tissues to support an implant. This is especially true for massive weight loss patients who have lost vital elasticity and strength to their fascia. Gala flex HD is an excellent option to reinforce the implant position. This mesh is dissolvable in approximately 18 months. This is an excellent option either in the first augmentation, or for a subsequent revision to improve implant position.
Am I a candidate?
Candidates for Galaflex HD are patients who have either lost strength in their tissue, or patients who currently have implants that are poorly positioned.
